6 years ago I got the opportunity to travel to Ottawa and visit the National War Museum and the National remembrance day ceremony. All in attendance were given a dog tag of a Canadian soldier.
This is Private John Power and sadly he lost his life in the Netherlands at age 23 (the same age I am now).
Private John Power was a member of the Canadian Army from the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment.
He is currently laid to rest in the Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
